- I am starting to work for SRA, contracting for Centers for Disease Control. I will be starting to make use of my Bioinformatics background there, before it gets rustier. There will be lots of High Performance Computing involved as well.
- I develop apps for smartphones.
In September, we established APPization, a
Mobile App Development Studio, in Atlanta.
We develop for Android, Windows 7, IOS. We also develop mobile websites, and run
mobile ad campaigns.
- Senior Software Engineer, NCR Corporation, Duluth, GA, March
2010-current. I am the responsible person for the Data Layer of a
web-based project
to be deployed by biggest retail chains.
- Postdoctoral Fellow, School of Electrical and
Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, March
2009-March 2010. I was driving a one man show to develop and host an
online service for a startup we were trying to take off together with Dr Fekri
and Dr Altunbasak. I was the Project PI and coauthor of NSF grant proposal for
the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) program.
- Senior
software engineer, Oracle Corporation,
May 2008 to March 2009. I was on the
RPAS (Retail Predictive
Application Server) team. We were developing software used by all
the big players in the retail industry for business decision making,
such as inventory and pricing.

I have taken part in the birth of
PlantCyc, a comprehensive
reference database of plant metabolic pathways that will host PGDBs
(Pathway Genome Databases) of all sequenced plant species.
